When we opened our doors 30 years ago it was a curiosity to have this glorious cider on our lists - a quirk that, back then, we shared only with The French House. A dozen bottles would arrive packed loosely in an unmarked carton, a little sticky, king-capped with the odd drip of residue down the neck. Although the dispatch has (thankfully) become somewhat slicker, it is now just as truly an artisanal enterprise as it was then.

Our loyalty to its cloudy, farmyard funkiness remains firm, and we are delighted that we ourselves are now able to deliver it direct to its many fans - and do be assured that our own packing too is a long way from those early, clanking Gallic deliveries.
